Job Summary
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for planning, supervising, executing, testing, and commissioning all electrical works at construction sites. The role ensures that electrical installations are completed according to approved drawings, project specifications, safety standards, quality requirements, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and execute all electrical works at construction sites.
- Review electrical drawings, BOQs, specifications, and shop drawings.
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, plumbing, and architectural teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor site activities and ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and project schedules.
- Prepare material requisitions and coordinate with the procurement department for timely material delivery.
- Inspect incoming electrical materials and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Ensure installation of electrical systems such as:
- HT/LT Panels
- Transformers
- DG Sets
- Cable Trays
- Power & Lighting Systems
- Earthing & Lightning Protection Systems
- Fire Alarm Systems
- CCTV
- Access Control Systems
- Public Address Systems
- Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical installations.
- Ensure compliance with IS standards, NBC guidelines, and electrical safety regulations.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and statutory authorities.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and certify completed work.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Maintain site documentation, inspection reports, and test records.
- Identify project risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures and company policies.
- Attend project coordination and progress review meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 3–10 years of experience in civil construction projects.
- Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of electrical construction methods and standards.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.
- Knowledge of HT/LT systems and MEP coordination.
- Familiarity with IS Codes, IEC Standards, and electrical safety regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Knowledge of project planning software (MS Project or Primavera) is an added advantage.

Preferred Experience
- 7 to 15 yrs Experience in high-rise residential, commercial buildings, hospitals, industrial projects, metro, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience in testing, commissioning, and handing over electrical systems.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
