Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Busbar Technician to fabricate, assemble, install, and test copper and aluminum busbars for LT/HT panels, switchgear, and power distribution systems. The candidate should be able to read engineering drawings, operate busbar processing machines, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate, cut, bend, drill, punch, and assemble copper/aluminum busbars as per engineering drawings and specifications.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, GA drawings, and busbar layouts.
- Install and fit busbars in LT/HT panels, switchgear, PCC, MCC, and distribution boards.
- Ensure proper alignment, insulation, spacing, earthing, and fastening of busbars.
- Operate busbar bending, cutting, punching, and drilling machines safely.
- Perform busbar assembly inspections, torque tightening, and continuity checks.
- Support testing and commissioning activities.
- Maintain production records and quality documentation.
- Follow company safety procedures and use PPE at all times.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and engineering teams to meet project deadlines.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in busbar fabrication and panel assembly.
- Knowledge of copper and aluminum busbar processing.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and BOM.
- Familiarity with LT/HT switchgear panels.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments and torque tools.
- Understanding of electrical safety standards and quality requirements.
Experience Levels
1–3 Years
- Basic busbar fabrication and panel assembly experience.
- Ability to operate busbar machines under supervision.
4–8 Years
- Independent handling of busbar fabrication and panel assembly.
- Ability to interpret drawings and supervise junior technicians.
9–15 Years
- Expertise in complex busbar arrangements for LT/HT panels.
- Team handling, quality control, troubleshooting, and production planning.
Preferred Qualifications
- ITI Electrician / Wireman / Fitter or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in Electrical Panel Manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of LT/HT Panels, PCC, MCC, APFC, VFD Panels, and Switchgear Assemblies.

Pay: ₹8,351.80 - ₹50,000.28 per month
