Team Lead Recruiter (Tech)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and high-performing 180 Recruitment Team Lead to join our tech recruitment function based in Mumbai. This is a player-coach role, combining hands-on 180 recruitment delivery with light team leadership responsibilities.
You will lead a small team of 2 180 recruiters, supporting them day-to-day while remaining heavily involved in sourcing and candidate delivery across Middle East technology markets.
This role is ideal for a senior recruiter who is still very delivery-focused but is ready to step into a leadership position and take ownership of a small, high-performing sourcing team.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership (2 Recruiters – Mumbai Based)
- Lead and support a small team of 2 180 recruiters/sourcers
- Keep team motivation high through regular check-ins, guidance, and hands-on support
- Help maintain strong morale, energy, and consistency across the desk
- Assist with day-to-day blockers (sourcing challenges, candidate engagement, role
understanding)
- Provide informal coaching on sourcing techniques, outreach quality, and CV
positioning
- Foster a positive, high-performance team culture in a fast-paced environment
Hands-on 180 Recruitment Delivery
- Act as an active 180 recruiter across key Middle East tech mandates
- Source, headhunt, and engage top-tier technology talent across software engineering,
data, cloud, DevOps, cybersecurity, and infrastructure
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines across active roles
- Manage full candidate lifecycle from first outreach through to placement
- Conduct screening calls, technical pre-assessments, and candidate preparation
Delivery & Market Focus
- Partner closely with internal 360 consultants to support live Middle East hiring needs
- Ensure consistent pipeline coverage across priority roles and clients
- Use advanced sourcing techniques including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search,
referrals, and talent mapping
- Maintain accurate ATS records (e.g. Bullhorn) and ensure strong data discipline
- Share market insights and candidate feedback to improve hiring outcomes
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in tech recruitment (software, data, cloud, or cybersecurity)
- Strong background in 180 / sourcing-led recruitment environments
- Experience mentoring, guiding, or informally leading junior recruiters or sourcers
- Strong knowledge of Middle East tech hiring is highly desirable
- Excellent sourcing capability (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, direct outreach,
talent mapping)
- Strong communication and candidate engagement skills
- High-energy, resilient, and performance-driven mindset
- Ability to balance personal delivery with supporting a small team
