ABOUT THE ROLE
The Wellness Shop is seeking an experienced and licensed Manufacturing Chemist with deep expertise in Cosmetic and Ayush Cosmetic formulation and manufacturing. The ideal candidate will bring strong regulatory knowledge, hands-on plant management experience, and a passion for wellness-driven product development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee end-to-end cosmetic and Ayush cosmetic manufacturing operations
Manage and supervise plant operations to ensure quality and compliance
Develop, optimize, and validate formulations as per regulatory standards
Ensure adherence to GMP, CDSCO, and Ayush licensing requirements
Lead batch manufacturing, in-process checks, and documentation
Coordinate with QA/QC teams for product testing and release
Oversee procurement of raw materials and vendor qualification
Train and mentor production floor staff
REQUIREMENTS
Valid Manufacturing Chemist License (mandatory)
B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry or related field
10–12 years of hands-on experience in cosmetic manufacturing
Strong knowledge of Ayush Cosmetic guidelines and regulations
Experience handling complete plant operations
Familiar with CDSCO, BIS, and Ayush regulatory framework
Proficiency in batch manufacturing records and SOP development
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
