Job Summary
The Dark Store Cluster Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of multiple dark stores within the assigned cluster. The role focuses on driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, inventory accuracy, team performance, cost optimization, and achieving business KPIs while ensuring compliance with company SOPs and safety standards. The Cluster Manager acts as the primary leader for all store operations and is accountable for P&L, productivity, and people development across the cluster.
Key Responsibilities1. Operations Management
- Manage end-to-end operations across 8–20 dark stores.
- Ensure seamless inbound, put-away, picking, packing, staging, and dispatch operations.
- Drive SLA adherence for order fulfillment and customer promise.
- Conduct daily operational reviews and store visits.
- Ensure SOP compliance across all stores.
2. KPI Management
Own and improve key operational metrics including:
- Order Fulfillment SLA
- O2A (Order to Assignment)
- Picker Productivity
- Orders Per Day (OPD)
- Inventory Accuracy
- IRDR / DPMO
- Fill Rate
- Order Defects
- Shrinkage & Damages
- Customer Complaints
- Cost per Order
- Store Productivity
- Attendance & Manpower Utilization
3. Inventory Management
- Maintain inventory accuracy above company targets.
- Conduct cycle counts and audits.
- Reduce inventory losses and damages.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO compliance where applicable.
- Monitor stock availability and replenishment.
4. Team Leadership
- Lead Store Managers, Shift In-Charges, AQMs, PEs, and Associates.
- Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop future leaders.
- Conduct weekly performance reviews.
- Drive employee engagement and retention.
- Build a high-performance culture.
5. Financial & Cost Control
- Own cluster P&L.
- Optimize manpower cost.
- Improve productivity without compromising quality.
- Control consumables and operational expenses.
- Drive continuous cost-saving initiatives.
6. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure 100% adherence to SOPs.
- Maintain Food Safety, Fire Safety, and Labour Law compliance.
- Ensure audit readiness at all times.
- Conduct safety inspections and corrective actions.
7. Stakeholder Management
Coordinate with:
- Supply Chain
- Procurement
- HR
- Finance
- IT
- Facilities
- Last Mile Operations
- Vendors
8. Continuous Improvement
- Identify operational bottlenecks.
- Implement Lean and Kaizen initiatives.
- Standardize best practices across all stores.
- Drive automation and process improvements.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
