Job Summary
Sr. Specialist BSA will play a critical role in bridging business needs with technology solutions to enhance the digital onboarding and issuance experience for customers across Axis MaxLife’s onboarding and issuance applications. Incumbent will be responsible for providing deep technical expertise in designing and delivering end to end high performance, scalable flexible solutions encompassing responsive APIs, application data Integration, scalable databases. Incumbent would be also responsible to experiment, explore and demonstrate application of new technologies by means of conducting quick prototypes to solve business problems. Work with the direction from Solution Architect/ Enterprise Architect and co-create solutions with rest of the IT delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Own end-to-end business and system requirementsfor Digital Onboarding and Issuance platforms across B2B, B2C and partner ecosystems, covering functional, non-functional, regulatory, and operational needs.
Act as a consultative partner to business stakeholders, translating complex business objectives, regulatory requirements, and product strategies into scalable, technology-aligned solutions.
Lead solution designin collaboration with Architects, Engineering, Data, AI and Security teams, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, reusability, and long-term roadmap.
Driverequirements decompositioninto epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria with strong traceability from business outcomes to system implementation.
Evaluate and defineAPI-first, integration-led and scalable architectures, including system interfaces, data flows, upstream/downstream dependencies, and third‑party integrations.
Providethought leadership on platform modernization, automation, performance optimization, scalability and resilience, drawing from industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Own solution governanceacross the delivery lifecycle—ensuring adherence to architecture standards, security guidelines, NFRs, VAPT requirements, compliance controls and audit readiness.
Partner with delivery teams to ensurehigh-quality execution, supporting SIT, UAT, and production readiness through clear requirements, risk identification, and defect root-cause analysis.
Act as amentor and capability builderwithin the BSA and delivery teams, providing guidance on requirement quality, solution thinking, industry patterns and domain knowledge.
Supportcontinuous improvement initiativesby analysing production issues, customer journeys, turnaround times, and process bottlenecks to recommend technology and process enhancements.

Key competencies/skills required:
7-10 years of experience in design development of B2B, B2C applications
End to End designing of applications with backend integration
Experience on individual life insurance product launches is preferable
Have strong ability to trouble shoot the application and interface related problems
Experience in addressing scalability performance tuning of applications
Passionate Problem Solver and “Can do attitude”, self-driven with sound communication articulation skills
BTech degree from a reputed institute
7-10 years of dev/business analysis experience
Should have architected and delivered at least 2-3 large projects
Should be working or should have worked with reputed organizations or startups
