Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Environment Engineer to support environmental compliance, pollution control operations, and sustainability initiatives. The candidate will assist in monitoring environmental parameters, maintaining statutory records, and ensuring adherence to environmental regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in ensuring compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and company standards.
- Monitor air, water, noise, and waste management systems.
- Support the operation and maintenance of Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), and pollution control equipment.
- Collect environmental monitoring data and prepare reports.
- Maintain environmental records, permits, and statutory documentation.
- Assist in obtaining and renewing environmental clearances, consents, and approvals.
- Monitor hazardous and non-hazardous waste handling, storage, and disposal activities.
- Conduct site inspections to identify environmental risks and improvement opportunities.
- Support environmental audits, inspections, and compliance assessments.
- Assist in implementing Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and ISO 14001 requirements.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to improve environmental performance.
- Conduct employee awareness programs on environmental protection and sustainability practices.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
- Diploma holders with relevant experience may also be considered.
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in environmental management, EHS, pollution control, or related functions.
- Freshers with strong academic backgrounds and internship experience may be considered for junior roles.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
- Understanding of ETP, STP, waste management, and pollution control systems.
- Environmental monitoring and reporting skills.
- Basic knowledge of ISO 14001 standards.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
