Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and technically inclined Maintenance Trainee to join our hotel maintainanace team. The trainee will assist in the day-to-day maintenance and repair of hotel facilities, equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, air-conditioning, and other maintainance services while gaining practical experience under the guidance of senior technicians and engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the maintenance team in routine inspection and preventive maintenance of hotel equipment and facilities.
- Support electrical, plumbing and general maintenance activities.
- Attend to maintenance requests from guest rooms, restaurants, offices, and other hotel areas.
- Assist in identifying and reporting equipment faults, breakdowns, and safety hazards.
- Perform basic repair and troubleshooting tasks under supervision.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance work areas in good condition.
- Assist with scheduled preventive maintenance activities and maintenance checklists.
- Follow hotel safety procedures, fire and emergency procedures, and applicable workplace regulations.
- Maintain proper records of maintenance activities and breakdowns.
- Coordinate with other hotel departments when required to resolve maintenance issues.
- Ensure guest comfort and safety by responding promptly to maintenance requirements.
- Carry out any other duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Maitanance Manager.
Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or a related technical field preferred.
- Freshers and candidates with limited experience are welcome to apply.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical systems is an advantage.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

Working Conditions

- May be required to work in guest rooms, kitchens, plant rooms, service areas, and outdoor areas.
- Shift work and emergency call-outs may be required depending on hotel operations.
