About the Role
Prayan Animation Studio is looking for a creative and passionate Script Writer with a flair for storytelling and a strong command of language. The ideal candidate will develop engaging scripts for a wide range of content, including children's animation, educational videos, comedy, mythology, branded content, and other creative projects.
This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy creating memorable characters, compelling narratives, and meaningful stories that captivate audiences of all ages.
Key Responsibilities
· Write original, engaging, and well-structured scripts based on project requirements.
· Develop creative story concepts, characters, dialogues, and compelling narratives.
· Create content for various formats, including animated series, educational videos, explainer videos, short films, social media content, and branded content.
· Collaborate with directors, animators, illustrators, and the creative team to bring stories to life.
· Conduct research on topics and transform ideas into engaging, audience-focused scripts.
· Revise and refine scripts based on creative feedback and project objectives.
· Ensure scripts align with the target audience, tone, and brand guidelines.
Requirements
· Excellent writing, storytelling, and creative thinking skills.
· Strong command of English (knowledge of Malayalam or other languages is an added advantage).
· Ability to write across multiple genres and for diverse audiences.
· Basic understanding of animation, filmmaking, or digital content creation is a plus.
· Strong research, communication, and collaboration skills.
· Passion for storytelling, creativity, and content creation.
· Freshers with exceptional writing skills and a strong portfolio are encouraged to apply.
· Experience: Freshers / 0–2 Years
Preferred Skills
· Experience writing scripts for animation, YouTube, children's content, educational media, or digital platforms.
· Familiarity with screenplay or scriptwriting formats.
· Understanding of story structure, pacing, character development, and dialogue writing.
· Ability to adapt stories for different age groups and content formats.
