A Reservations Manager is a key leadership role responsible for optimizing room revenue and ensuring a seamless booking experience for guests. This position bridges the gap between sales strategies and front-office execution. Core Responsibilities
- Revenue & Inventory Management: Maximize occupancy and room revenue through effective yield and inventory management. This includes monitoring occupancy trends and adjusting rates or allocations across various channels.
- Channel Management: Oversee both online and offline reservation channels, including Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), the resort website, travel agents, and direct bookings.
- Operational Oversight: Manage the daily operations of the reservations department to ensure 100% accuracy in booking details, rates, inclusions, and room types.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and motivate the reservations staff, ensuring they adhere to resort policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Guest Interaction: Ensure timely and professional responses to all guest inquiries, modifications, or cancellations.
- System Integrity: Maintain accurate records in the Property Management System (PMS) and ensure all reservation data is updated.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Typically requires several years of progressive hotel experience, with a focus on revenue management or front office operations.
- Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of PMS software and channel managers.
- Communication: Strong negotiation and relationship management skills to work effectively with sales, marketing, and finance departments.
- Analytical Ability: Skilled in budgeting and forecasting to meet financial targets
Pay: ₹25,558.51 - ₹42,158.07 per month
