About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to oversee daily operations and manage internal teams. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, communication, and planning skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Essential duties and Responsibilities
1) Production Scheduling and Implementation
Create and carry out daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
Achieve production goals with the least amount of downtime possible.
Track line efficiency and capacity utilization.
2) Management of the Shopfloor
Oversee personnel deployment and shop floor operations.
Make sure all production lines follow SOP.
Encourage productivity and discipline on the shop floor.
3) Compliance & Quality
Verify adherence to quality requirements and standards
Uphold safety, hygienic, and GMP regulations
Encourage both internal and external audits
4) Process Enhancement
Find process gaps and make the necessary adjustments.
Minimize inefficiency and increase production.
Encourage efforts for ongoing improvement
5) Coordination
Coordinate with maintenance for machine uptime
Coordinate with the warehousing and QA teams
6) MIS & Reporting
Create production reports on a daily and monthly basis.
Preserve the accuracy of ERP data
Requirements:
Bachelor's degrees or postgraduate degrees in operations or manufacturing management are preferred.
