Primary Responsibilities:
Perform regular inspection, preventive maintenance and overhaul on knitting and glove manufacturing machines.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and electronics issues.
- Replace defective parts such as needles, sinkers, cams, Bearing etc.
- Identify and fix machine breakdowns quickly to minimize downtime.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement corrective measures to ensure consistent product quality
- Adjust machine settings for different knitting pattern and fabric types.
- Work closely with the production and quality department to meet quality standards.
- Interact with machine manufacturers, part suppliers and service providers for technical support and parts procurement.
- Maintain comprehensive logs, including service histories, parts replaced and scheduled maintenance reports.
- Oversee the procurement and inventory of spare parts, tools and equipment necessary for smooth operation.
- Lead, train and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and staffs.
- Follow safety guideline and standard operating procedures.
Supplementary Skills (Preferred):
Experience in welding, lathe operation, or fabrication work will be an added advantage.
Qualification & Experience:
Class 10/12 / Diploma / ITI / Engineering in Mechanical or Textile.
- Experience: 15 to 20 years of experience in textile machinery maintenance (Flat or Circular Knitting, Weaving, Looms) is preferred. Key Competencies:
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of machine overhauling and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Good understanding of safety protocols and equipment handling.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
