Job Requirements
Procurement Executive
Procurement & Sourcing Identify and develop new suppliers locally and internationally.
Float RFQs/RFPs, analyze quotations, and finalize vendors based on cost, quality, lead time, and service.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, MOQ, and Incoterms.
Create and manage rate agreements and long-term contracts.
Purchase Order Management Convert PRs to POs in ERP (SAP)
Ensure PO accuracy with respect to specifications, pricing, taxes, and delivery terms.
Track order acknowledgements, lead times, and dispatch schedules.
Vendor Management Maintain vendor database and performance evaluation (quality, cost, delivery).
Resolve supply issues, rejections, shortages, and claims.
Coordinate with finance for payment follow-ups and credit term compliance.
Cost Control & Savings Work on cost reduction initiatives and alternative sourcing.
Support price benchmarking and annual cost negotiations.
Achieve procurement cost saving targets.
Import & Logistics Coordination (if applicable) Manage import documentation, Incoterms (EXW/FOB/CIF), freight negotiation.
Coordinate with CHA, forwarders, and logistics partners.
Ensure on-time customs clearance and delivery.
Documentation & Compliance Maintain procurement records, approvals, contracts, and audit data.
Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
Support ISO audits and internal audits.
Work Experience
Key Skills Required Negotiation & supplier relationship management Cost analysis & commercial acumen ERP / SAP / Excel proficiency Knowledge of Incoterms, GST, import/export procedures Strong communication and coordination skills Analytical and problem-solving abilities Qualification & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Supply Chain 2–3 years of experience in manufacturing/project procurement Exposure to domestic & import sourcing preferred
