We are seeking a Vehicle Tracking System Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in GPS tracking, telematics, and fleet management solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of vehicle tracking systems, ensuring reliable real-time monitoring and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain GPS tracking devices in vehicles.
- Monitor vehicle tracking systems and ensure accurate location reporting.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues related to tracking devices.
- Coordinate with customers and field technicians for installations and support activities.
- Perform testing and validation of GPS devices, sensors, and telematics solutions.
- Generate and analyze vehicle tracking reports, alerts, and performance metrics.
- Ensure proper integration of tracking devices with fleet management platforms.
- Maintain installation records, service reports, and technical documentation.
- Provide technical support and training to end users when required.
- Adhere to company standards and safety procedures during installations and maintenance.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of GPS, GSM, GPRS, and telematics technologies.
- Understanding of vehicle electrical systems and wiring.
- Experience with vehicle tracking and fleet management platforms.
- Basic knowledge of networking and communication protocols.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer-handling abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage field assignments.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in vehicle tracking systems, telematics, or GPS device installation and support.
Pay: ₹10,086.78 - ₹24,887.28 per month
