We are seeking a qualified and passionate Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Geography to teach senior secondary classes (Grades XI–XII). The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to prepare students for board examinations and competitive exams.
Key Responsibilities Teach Geography to Classes XI and XII in accordance with the prescribed curriculum. Prepare lesson plans, assignments, tests, and assessments. Develop engaging classroom activities to enhance students' understanding of geographical concepts. Monitor and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback. Prepare students for board examinations and academic competitions. Maintain accurate academic records and attendance. Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher interactions, and co-curricular activities. Use technology and innovative teaching methods to improve learning outcomes.
Required Qualifications Master's Degree (M.A./M.Sc.) in Geography with at least 50% marks. B.Ed. degree from a recognized institution. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in computer applications and smart classroom teaching. Preferred Skills Experience teaching CBSE/ICSE/State Board curriculum. Ability to integrate GIS, maps, and digital resources into teaching. Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
