Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Electrical Engineer to join our cutting-edge engineering team. Duties
- Design and develop electrical systems and components utilizing CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks to create detailed schematics and layouts.
- Implement FPGA and SystemVerilog programming for high-speed digital design projects, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
- Conduct root cause analysis on electrical failures or system malfunctions to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Develop PCB layouts for surface mount technology (SMT) using CAD software, ensuring manufacturability and compliance with NEC standards.
- Perform signal processing tasks and system design for applications involving microcontrollers like ARM and Arduino platforms.
- Collaborate on project scheduling to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards across all phases of development.
- Utilize tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, Python, C++, Perl, and scripting languages for simulation, firmware development, and automation tasks.
- Engage in debugging electrical circuits using tools like ohmmeters and vision inspection systems to verify system integrity.
- Support manufacturing processes by providing technical guidance on surface mount technology assembly and soldering techniques.
- Contribute to mechanical-electrical integration efforts using Revit, Mechanical knowledge, MicroStation, and other CAD tools for comprehensive system design.
Skills
- Proficiency in FPGA development environments and hardware description languages such as SystemVerilog.
- Strong experience with PCB design software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks.
- Expertise in electrical systems design, schematics creation, and adherence to NEC standards.
- Hands-on experience with surface mount technology (SMT), soldering techniques, and debugging electronic circuits.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ARM microcontrollers, Arduino platforms, and firmware development.
- Familiarity with signal processing algorithms and vision inspection systems for quality assurance applications.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis efficiently using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters and oscilloscopes.
- Experience with project scheduling methodologies to ensure timely delivery of complex projects.
- Mechanical engineering knowledge relevant to electrical system integration within mechanical assemblies.
