Position: Mother Teacher (Pre-Primary)
Location: GD Goenka School, Chhibramau, Kannauj
Reporting To: Principal/ Academic Coordinator
Job Summary:
The Mother Teacher will be responsible for nurturing and educating students from Pre-Nursery to Grade 2 in a caring, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. She will play a vital role in the holistic growth of each child—academically, socially, and emotionally—through activity-based, play-oriented, and experiential learning methods, in alignment with CBSE’s Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct daily lessons, activities, and learning experiences as per the school curriculum and CBSE ECCE framework.
- Teach all foundational subjects (English, Hindi, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies) using child-friendly and interactive methods.
- Create a joyful, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.
- Assess and record children’s progress regularly through observation, portfolios, and formative evaluations as per CBSE norms.
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child’s progress, strengths, and areas for development.
- Ensure the emotional and physical safety of every child within the classroom and during school activities.
- Foster moral values, discipline, and positive behavior in young learners.
- Use digital tools, audio-visual aids, and innovative teaching materials to enhance classroom engagement.
- Coordinate with co-teachers and support staff to ensure smooth classroom operations and holistic learning.
- Participate actively in school events, assemblies, and teacher training programs.
Qualifications & Requirements (As per CBSE Norms):
- Educational Qualification:
- NTT / ECCE / D.El.Ed./ B.Ed. from a recognised institution (mandatory for Pre-Primary and Primary level).
- Graduate degree in any discipline (preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Pre-Primary or Primary sections in a reputed CBSE/ICSE school preferred.
- Skills Required:
- Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Warm, patient, and compassionate attitude toward children.
- Understanding of child psychology and age-appropriate pedagogy.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and smart classroom teaching.
Remuneration:
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, as per school norms.
