Qualifications UG: B.Tech / B.E. (Any Specialization) | B.Sc Food Technology
PG M.Sc / MS (Food Technology)
Experience✅ Minimum 8–10 years in processed foods (Meats, Seafood, Dairy, Breads, etc.)
✅ Prior experience in Food & Beverage industry, if the candidate has not worked in FMCG Sector, please don't apply for this position
Key Responsibilities: Compliance & Regulatory Affairs:
- Monitor & ensure adherence to FSSAI, Legal Metrology, and other statutory regulations for domestic and import shipments.
- Apply for new licenses or modifications, maintain policy relationships with regulatory authorities.
- Interpret and implement notifications from FSSAI, Legal Metrology, and other regulatory bodies.
Quality & Food Safety:
- Drive HACCP systems across all distribution centers.
- Develop training manuals and conduct workshops to create a food safety culture for sourcing, supply chain, and 3PL vendors.
- Establish an efficient Food Safety Management System and ensure product quality compliance across the supply chain.
- Lead vendor audits and ensure risk management for all compliance activities.
- Implement ISO 22000:2018 standards across distribution centers.
- Train staff on health, hygiene, and safety across various verticals (Coffee, Customer Service, etc.).
Product Compliance:
- Review new and existing products to manage compliance with domestic and global regulations.
- Assist in developing specifications for food categories in coordination with suppliers.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Food Technologist with knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSAI, Legal Metrology
- 3+ years in processed foods (Meats, Seafood, Dairy, Breads, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills, team coordination, and MS Office proficiency
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
