Job Description
- Monitoring and Alerts: Monitor AWS infrastructure for performance and availability using AWS Cloud Watch and other monitoring tools. Respond to alerts and escalate issues as needed. Incident Management:
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic AWS-related incidents. Document and escalate complex issues to senior engineers.
- Support and Troubleshooting: Provide support for AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC. Perform basic troubleshooting and perform root cause analysis for simple issues.
- AWS Configuration and Setup: Assist with configuring new AWS services and resources. Set up basic EC2 instances, S3 buckets, and other AWS resources as needed.
- Automation and Scripting: Write simple automation scripts using AWS CLI, PowerShell, or basic shell scripts to streamline operational tasks.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain and update knowledge base articles, operational runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
- Customer Interaction: Provide support and customer-facing services as needed, assisting with AWS-related queries and providing solutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers and other IT teams to ensure smooth operation of cloud services and applications.
Required Skill Set and Experience
Basic understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, RDS, etc.
- Knowledge of cloud concepts, including scaling, load balancing, and networking in AWS.
- Experience with monitoring tools (AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, or similar).
- Familiarity with automation tools such as AWS CLI, PowerShell, or basic scripting. Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to learn and grow in AWS technologies.

Years of Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
- 1-2 years of experience in cloud support or related roles, preferably with AWS experience.
Certification requirements
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (or higher).
- Basic understanding of security best practices in AWS.
