Key Responsibilities of a Driver
- Safely operate vehicles while following traffic laws and regulations.
- Transport passengers or deliver goods on time.
- Plan efficient routes and manage travel schedules.
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic upkeep.
- Monitor fuel levels, engine condition, tire pressure, and other essentials.
- Keep accurate records such as mileage, fuel usage, delivery logs, or trip reports.
- Handle loading and unloading of goods when required.
- Ensure the safety and security of passengers, cargo, or documents.
- Follow company policies and safety procedures.
- Report accidents, delays, vehicle issues, or maintenance needs promptly.
- Use GPS and navigation tools effectively.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service.
