G M Fabrics is hiring "Plant Head" for Tarapur location.
Job Role:
- Develop and implement production schedules and plans to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth production flow.
- Establish and implement quality control standards and procedures to ensure products meet customer specifications.
- Monitor and inspect production processes to identify and address quality issues.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Lead and manage a team of production workers, supervisors, and technicians.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Monitor and control production costs, including labor, materials, and overhead expenses.
- Ensure timely delivery as per the schedule
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement strategies to improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.
- Implement safety measures and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Qualifications and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in textile engineering, preferably managed Jacquards and Dobby Looms
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in textile manufacturing, with at least 8+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of textile production processes, equipment, and machinery.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using computer software for production planning, scheduling, and quality control
