About the Role
GFMNOW is looking for a talented and passionate iOS Developer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Swift, modern iOS development practices, and experience building scalable, high-performance mobile applications.
You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver intuitive and feature-rich iOS applications for global clients and innovative products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced applications for the iOS platform using Swift.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Build intuitive, responsive, and high-performing user interfaces using UIKit and SwiftUI.
- Ensure code quality through code reviews, best practices, and comprehensive testing using XCTest.
- Integrate mobile applications with backend services using RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Implement robust data persistence solutions using Core Data or Realm.
- Utilize Grand Central Dispatch (GCD) and Combine for asynchronous programming.
- Optimize application performance, memory usage, and overall user experience.
- Debug and resolve application issues, crashes, and performance bottlenecks.
- Manage source code using Git and collaborative version control workflows.
- Stay up to date with the latest iOS SDKs, Apple frameworks, and design guidelines.
Required SkillsTechnical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Swift with hands-on experience developing and maintaining production-grade iOS applications.
- Deep understanding of UIKit, Auto Layout, and responsive UI development.
- Experience with SwiftUI.
- Strong knowledge of iOS application lifecycle, memory management, and application architectures such as MVC, MVVM, and Clean Architecture.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling JSON data.
- Expertise in Core Data or Realm for offline data management.
- Experience working with Apple Maps and location-based services.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns and clean coding principles.
- Proficiency in Git, branching strategies, pull requests, and collaborative development workflows.
- Experience writing unit and UI tests using XCTest.
- Hands-on experience with asynchronous programming using GCD and Combine.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of advanced architectural patterns such as MVVM, Coordinators, Routers, and Publishers.
- Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with Swift Package Manager (SPM), CocoaPods, and XcodeGen.
- Experience writing unit, integration, and UI tests for stable and reliable releases.
- Hands-on experience with Dependency Injection frameworks, mocks, and stubs for Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Understanding of App Store deployment, code signing, provisioning profiles, and TestFlight.
- Knowledge of mobile security practices, data encryption, OAuth, JWT, and API authentication methods.
