We are looking for a motivated and hardworking GeM Operator cum Sales Executive to manage GeM portal operations and support business development activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and operate the GeM (Government e-Marketplace) Portal.
- Create and update product/service catalogs and generate product links.
- Search, analyze, and participate in GeM bids, tenders, and reverse auctions.
- Handle L1 creation, bid management, and tender documentation.
- Prepare quotations, technical documents, and compliance-related paperwork.
- Track orders, invoices, payments, and delivery status.
- Generate new business opportunities and identify potential clients.
- Follow up with customers regarding inquiries, quotations, orders, and payments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and government buyers.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order execution.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.
- Maintain records of GeM activities, sales, and customer interactions.
Requirements
- Knowledge of GeM Portal operations, bidding, and tender processes.
- Good communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Email.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
- Prior experience in GeM operations, sales, or business development will be an added advantage.
