Software Engineering Lead (GG11) – .NET Full Stack
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled .NET Full Stack Software Engineer (GG11) to design, develop, and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance applications across MetLife’s enterprise platforms.
This role operates at a senior/lead individual contributor level, responsible for end-to-end solution development, mentoring junior engineers, and driving engineering best practices in alignment with MetLife’s digital and data strategy.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in .NET, modern UI frameworks, Azure cloud services, APIs, and data platforms, with the ability to work across full-stack development and enterprise-scale systems.
Key Responsibilities
? Application Development

Design and develop scalable full-stack applicationsusing:

Modern front-end frameworks (Angular / React / TypeScript)

Build reusable, maintainable, and testable code following clean architecture principles
API & Integration

Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices

Implement API security (OAuth2, JWT, Azure AD)

Develop cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions)

Required Qualifications
Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent
