Company Info: Quessentials Ltd is a leading exporter and manufacturer of food products in India with two manufacturing facilities in Malur and having sales office in Bangalore. We are a MSME with 50 people and having more than 1000 clients to serve.
Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Executive to oversee all aspects of quality assurance within our organization. The Quality Control Executive will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control policies and procedures, inspecting and testing materials and products, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control policies and procedures.
- Conduct inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure adherence to company quality standards.
- Identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
- Train production staff on quality control measures and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate internal production processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with production management to implement quality improvements.
- Investigate customer complaints regarding quality and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation and perform record-keeping duties relating to quality assurance.
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards and regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture field (e.g., Quality Assurance, Agri Bussiness Mgt.,food industry) or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably in [Food industry].
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in quality control (e.g., GMP,HACCP, Certified Quality Engineer).
- Experience with [specific software/systems relevant to your industry].
- Familiarity with [relevant regulatory standards and requirements specific to your industry].
NOTE: Minimum 2-3 year of Experience in dealing with Organic products/Peanuts / Groundnut / Sesame seeds / Quinoa/Chia/Millets/Spices etc.
