The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching vocal music to students across various grade levels, fostering musical talent, confidence, and appreciation for both Indian and contemporary music traditions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music, Vocal Performance, Performing Arts, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Formal training/certification in Hindustani Classical, Carnatic, or Western Vocal Music is mandatory.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience in a reputed school, music academy, or cultural institution.
- Experience in preparing students for performances, competitions, and school events.
- Recognized certifications or diplomas in vocal music from reputed institutions.
- Ability to teach Indian Classical, devotional, patriotic, and contemporary songs.
- Knowledge of voice training techniques, rhythm, and musical notation.
- Familiarity with CBSE co-curricular frameworks and school performance requirements.
- Strong vocal abilities with excellent pitch, rhythm, and tonal quality.
- Ability to teach students of different age groups and skill levels.
- Knowledge of music theory, raagas, taals, and vocal techniques.
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Proficiency in using instruments such as harmonium or keyboard for accompaniment.
- Ability to integrate technology and audio resources into music instruction.
