Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer – Automation Testing to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated
test strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. You will work closely
with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality at every stage of the SDLC
- Identify, document, and track defects using standard tools
- Participate in requirement analysis and test planning
- Ensure test coverage and quality metrics are met
- Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines
- Conduct performance and load testing (preferred)
- Mentor junior QA engineers and drive best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA/Software Testing, with strong focus on automation
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright,
or similar
- Strong knowledge of programming languages like Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, etc.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good to Have
- Experience in performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker
- Experience in security testing
