Lead basic engineering of AC electrical systems for solar PV plants, including pooling substations and transmission lines up to 400 kV.
Design and engineer high-voltage electrical systems including substations, transformers, and switchgear.
Prepare and review Single Line Diagrams (SLD), schematics, specifications, and technical documentation.
Perform power system studies such as load flow, short circuit analysis, protection coordination, earthing, cable sizing, and DSLP calculations.
Develop technical specifications, equipment datasheets, and BOM/BOQ estimates for HV and AC system components.
Conduct technical bid evaluations, review vendor drawings, and approve technical submissions.
Ensure compliance with standards such as International Electrotechnical Commission and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
Support installation, testing, commissioning, and performance testing of AC electrical systems and prepare test reports.
Perform technical due diligence and techno-economic assessments for solar PV and associated BESS projects.
Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and clients on technical matters and provide Owner’s Engineer / advisory support.Mentor junior engineers and participate in engineering reviews and troubleshooting activities.
