Job Description
Ojas Interiors is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. The candidate should have good design knowledge, space planning skills, material understanding, and the ability to create beautiful, functional interiors for residential and commercial projects.
The role includes understanding client requirements, preparing design concepts, creating 2D/3D drawings, selecting materials, coordinating with vendors/site teams, and ensuring the final output matches the approved design.
Responsibilities
- Understand client requirements and create suitable interior design concepts.
- Prepare 2D layouts, furniture plans, mood boards, and 3D designs.
- Work on designs for modular kitchens, wardrobes, bedrooms, living rooms, false ceilings, lighting, and full home interiors.
- Suggest colours, materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and décor based on the project requirement.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, carpenters, site supervisors, and execution teams.
- Visit project sites when required and check design execution quality.
- Ensure designs are practical, beautiful, and within the client’s budget.
- Maintain project files, drawings, measurements, and design approvals properly.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of interior design, space planning, and materials.
- Experience in residential interiors is preferred.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, Photoshop, or similar design software.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand client needs and give creative design solutions.
- Basic knowledge of modular furniture, carpentry, false ceiling, lighting, and finishes.
- Should be responsible, punctual, and able to coordinate with the team.
Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- Freshers with strong design skills can also apply.
- Experience: 0–1 years preferred.
Salary
Salary will be based on experience and interview performance.
