About the Role
Xylem Learning is looking for a Computer Science Faculty to teach and mentor students across [school-level/UG/entrance exam/placement prep] programs. You’ll deliver concept-driven classes, guide coding practice, and help students build strong CS fundamentals.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching & Labs:* Deliver lectures and hands-on lab sessions in C, C++, Java, Python, Data Structures, Algorithms, DBMS, OS, and Computer Networks
- Curriculum Delivery:* Prepare lesson plans, PPTs, notes, and practice sets aligned with the syllabus and exam patterns
- Student Engagement:* Conduct doubt-clearing sessions, evaluate assignments/tests, and mentor students for exams and placements
- Content Creation:* Contribute to video lectures, question banks, and study material for online/offline batches
- Academic Activities:* Participate in demo classes, workshops, hackathons, and faculty training sessions
- Progress Tracking:* Assess student performance and coordinate with academic mentors to ensure learning outcomes
- Stay Current:* Update content with latest industry practices, tools, and technologies
- Eligibility Criteria
- Education:* B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc in Computer Science/IT or related field
- Experience:* 1–5 years teaching experience preferred. Freshers with excellent coding and communication skills may apply
- Technical Proficiency:* Strong command over at least 2 programming languages and core CS subjects. Exposure to competitive programming/gate-level DSA is a plus
- Skills:* Clear explanation skills, student-friendly approach, classroom management, and fluency in English & Malayalam
Preferred Qualifications
- - Experience teaching for CBSE/State syllabus, GATE, placements, or coding bootcamps
- - Knowledge of web dev, AI/ML basics, or databases is an advantage
- - Prior experience with edtech platforms or hybrid teaching models.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
