About the Role:
The AGM / DGM of Projects at Sigachi will be responsible & accountable for the planning, organizing, communicating, executing, monitoring, coordinating, and reporting end-to-end aspects of Sigachi’s projects from initiation to completion. The individual will work closely with stakeholders to define project goals, objectives, and deliverables, and will lead a team of project managers and coordinators to execute project
plans and monitor progress across multiple locations for a timely and within budget project delivery. Will possess excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, and must be able to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and have a strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices and will be able to adapt and tailor them to meet the specific needs of
each project.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the successful implementation of Sigachi’s projects across multiple locations.
- Own, be responsible & accountable to plan & execute projects as per Sigachi’s timelines and objectives.
- Manage resources including people, materials & money towards successful project delivery within Capex budget and timeline constraints.
- Build & maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including project managers, cross functional Sigachi teams, suppliers, vendors, contractors, etc. to execute projects flawlessly.
- Identify and mitigate risks that may impact project delivery, ensuring proactive measures are in place to address potential challenges.
- Monitor project progress and performance to ensure delivery meets quality standards and requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Facilitate clear and open communication with project teams, stakeholders, and senior management to keep all parties informed and engaged.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and best practices implementation to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor project budgets and financial resources to ensure projects are delivered within allocated funds.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and feedback sessions with project teams to recognize achievements and address areas for improvement.
- Maintain high standards of integrity, safety, and financial prudence among self, team members and all stakeholders involved in the projects.
What a good candidate will bring:
- Proven experience and knowledge of leading and executing mid and large-scale green field and brown field projects within India as well as internationally in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to create and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills & Executive presence.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools. MEP and civil designing skills are essential.
- Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
- Understanding of the industry and company goals and objectives.
- Ability to drive and motivate team members to achieve project goals.
- Experience working on complex projects with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
Job Specification:

15 – 18 years of project experience of which at least 2-3 years in leading successful project teams in mid and large-scale pharma projects.

Strategic planning & action-oriented approach to business development for growth of business across geographies.

Resourceful in building high performance teams, developing the next generation of leaders within the company.

Long, wide & deep network contact with people, decision makers, influencers and others that helps in establishing long lasting business relationships.

Excellent working knowledge of AutoCad.
Qualification – Bachelors’ / master’s in civil / mechanical engineering or any other engineering discipline. MBA
is an added advantage.
Other pre-requisites:

Will operate out of the Sigachi Registered office at Hyderabad.

Must be willing to travel across project locations, both Greenfield and Brownfield
