Responsibilities • Oversee day-to-day litigations and documentation management • Design strategy for cost effective litigations and set goals for growth • Set right all the applicable policies and processes in place • Absolute end-to-end process formulation, negotiation, drafting, vetting and execution on all agreements across group Co’s; • Ensure team engagement, work productively and develop professionally • Evaluate and improve on applicable SoP’s, Co; Policies, etc. • Analyse, research, discuss, debate on the circulars, guidelines, amendments in policies and law as to how the same is/would be affecting the ongoing business. • Prepare regular weekly, fortnightly & monthly MIS and other reports as may be required for HOD & management on the legal, documentation, work completition, litigations etc. • Provide quick, effective and soluble solutions to issues (e.g. conflict management, internal inquiries, conciliation, etc.). • Litigation & Documentations Management: • Strategic, viable and amicable thinking and implementation on Litigation requirements • Ensure timely appearance, defending, initiating, contesting and concluding of all legal proceedings in a cost effective manner safeguarding Co; interest. • Warrant timely attendance and response with effectiveness ensuring protecting business interest to each and every notices, replies, WS, affidavits, plaints, suits etc. • Ensure Database management of Litigations / documentations / CMS etc. on monthly and quarterly basis presenting an updated legal / documentation cases / executed / concluded review to the HOD. • Ensure review of product labels to comply with FSSA, IPR, Legal Metrology, NPPA etc. compliances as mandated. • Ensure Legal proceedings management and defending under D&C, FSSA, NPPA, Legal Metrology and any other statute as applicable • Advising on persuasive activities to ensure that all the internal & external statutory and mandatory compliances as contemplated are in compliance adherence at all times. • Ensure complete compliance of all the business requirements. • Ensure to carry out due diligence of new project locations • Wherever required and as suggested by the HOD and or the Management to make timely communications and representations along with internal concerned department to various Govt. agencies or departments for issues related to power, water, effluent discharge etc. • Undertake and timely implement any other project undertaken at management instance Requirements and skills • Proven experience as a DGM or General Manager or similar executive role • Knowledge of business processes and functions (Legal, Regulatory, operations, commercial etc.) • Strong analytical, negotiating, drafting and vetting abilities of all forms of agreements. • Excellent communication & presentation skills • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills • Problem-solving aptitude • Capability to work in unison with team and or individual depending upon the business requirements. • Thorough knowledge of reading, speaking and understanding of English, Gujarat and Hindi languages.
