Essential Qualifications
As per the latest UGC Regulations and applicable AICTE norms:
- A Master's Degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade).
- NET/SLET/SET qualification in the concerned subject.
- Candidates awarded a Ph.D. in accordance with UGC Regulations may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET as applicable.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching, research, academic administration, and student mentoring.
Desirable Qualifications
- Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
- Quality publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Experience in outcome-based education and interdisciplinary research.
- Ability to contribute to curriculum development, innovation, and institutional growth.
Pay Scale
Salary and service conditions shall be as per UGC/AICTE norms and University regulations. Higher emoluments may be considered for exceptionally qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
- Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
- Guiding student projects and research activities.
- Developing innovative teaching-learning practices.
- Contributing to academic administration, accreditation, and institutional development.
- Undertaking research, consultancy, and extension activities.
