Job Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency standards. This role involves managing production personnel, monitoring workflow, coordinating with support departments, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in PCB fabrication and assembly processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily PCB manufacturing and assembly operations, including SMT, THT, soldering, testing, and inspection activities.
- Allocate manpower and resources to meet production schedules and customer delivery requirements.
- Monitor production output, productivity, and process performance.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, work instructions, and manufacturing procedures.
- Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Planning departments to resolve production issues.
- Track production targets and implement corrective actions when goals are not met.
- Maintain production records, shift reports, and performance data.
- Train, guide, and evaluate operators and production staff.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, ESD requirements, and company policies.
- Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement programs.
- Assist in reducing defects, rework, downtime, and material waste.
- Monitor equipment utilization and report maintenance requirements.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of PCB fabrication and PCB assembly processes.
- Understanding of SMT, THT, reflow soldering, wave soldering, AOI, ICT, and functional testing.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Production planning and scheduling knowledge.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with quality standards and process controls.
- Ability to read production documents, drawings, and work instructions.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/MRP systems.
Educational Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in:

Experience Requirements
- Typically 3–8 years of experience in PCB manufacturing, PCBA, electronics manufacturing, or related industries.
- Prior experience leading production teams or shift operations is preferred.
