Job Summary
Dr. Aravind’s IVF Fertility & Pregnancy Centre is looking for a responsible and patient-focused Registered Staff Nurse to join the clinical team at Karapakkam.
The selected candidate will provide nursing support to patients, assist doctors and senior nursing staff, maintain clinical records, and support the smooth functioning of the centre while following established nursing and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients according to established clinical procedures.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and relevant observations.
- Assist doctors and senior nurses during consultations and clinical procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and within the scope of practice.
- Prepare patients for consultations, procedures, and investigations as required.
- Maintain accurate nursing notes, patient records, and related documentation.
- Monitor patients and promptly report changes in their condition to the concerned doctor.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing colleagues, laboratory staff, and other departments.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of patient-care areas.
- Follow infection-control, hygiene, and patient-safety practices.
- Ensure proper handling and availability of routine nursing supplies.
- Provide appropriate information and instructions to patients as directed by the treating team.
- Support emergency response and escalate concerns to senior clinical staff when required.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professional standards.
- Participate in routine nursing activities and departmental responsibilities.
Eligibility
- B.Sc Nursing / GNM from a recognized institution.
- Valid nursing registration as applicable.
- Previous experience in a hospital, clinic, IVF, fertility, or women’s healthcare setting is preferred.
- Freshers may also be considered based on the role requirements.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a clinical team.
