A School Counsellor supports the emotional, behavioral, social, and academic well-being of students. The role involves guiding students in personal development, career awareness, discipline management, emotional support, and creating a positive learning environment within the school.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individual and group counselling to students.
Support students with emotional, behavioral, academic, and social concerns.
Identify students requiring special attention and coordinate interventions.
Conduct career guidance and subject-selection counselling.
Work closely with parents, teachers, and school leadership regarding student progress and well-being.
Organize awareness programs on mental health, life skills, discipline, values, cyber safety, and adolescence education.
Maintain confidential student counselling records and reports.
Help in conflict resolution, peer relationship management, and stress management.
Assist in creating a safe, inclusive, and positive school culture.
Coordinate wellness activities, motivational sessions, and student development programs.
Support students during examinations, transitions, and challenging situations.

Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Psychology / Counselling / Child Development / Social Work
Diploma or certification in School Counselling or Child Psychology preferred
Experience in school counselling or student mentoring preferred
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
