Job Summary
The MEP Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and monitoring all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and HVAC works for interior fit-out projects. The role ensures that all MEP services are executed as per approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & Coordination
- Review MEP drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents.
- Coordinate MEP services with architectural, civil, and interior works.
- Prepare MEP execution schedules aligned with project timelines.
- Conduct site surveys and identify design clashes and technical issues.
- Participate in project kick-off, coordination, and client meetings.
2. MEP Design Review & Engineering
- Review HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV drawings.
- Verify load calculations, equipment selections, and system layouts.
- Prepare and review shop drawings, as-built drawings, and material submittals.
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and project requirements.
3. Site Execution & Supervision
- Supervise day-to-day MEP installation activities.
- Monitor subcontractors and vendors for quality and progress.
- Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Conduct inspections, testing, commissioning, and snag rectifications.
- Resolve site coordination and technical issues.
4. Procurement & Cost Control
- Prepare BOQs and material requirements.
- Review and approve MEP material procurement.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor MEP costs and control project budgets.
- Support billing and quantity verification processes.
5. Quality & Safety Management
- Ensure compliance with project quality standards.
- Conduct quality inspections and maintain documentation.
- Implement HSE requirements and safety procedures at site.
- Monitor corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
6. Testing, Commissioning & Handover
- Coordinate testing and commissioning of all MEP systems.
- Prepare handover documentation and O&M manuals.
- Ensure closure of snag lists before project handover.
- Support client training and final project closeout.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 5–12 years of experience in Interior Fit-Out Projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and Excel.
- Knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity estimation, and project coordination.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
