Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled ITI Welder to perform welding and fabrication activities. The candidate will be responsible for producing strong and high-quality welds as per specifications while ensuring safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities Welding Operations
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Arc welding as per job requirements
- Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
- Ensure strong, clean, and defect-free welds
Drawing Interpretation
- Read and understand welding drawings and symbols
- Follow specifications for joint preparation and welding sequence
Fabrication & Assembly
- Prepare metal surfaces by cutting, grinding, and cleaning
- Align and fit components before welding
- Assist in fabrication and structural assembly
Quality Control
- Inspect welds for defects, strength, and finish
- Perform rework if required to meet quality standards
Maintenance
- Maintain welding machines and tools
- Ensure proper storage and handling of equipment
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all welding safety procedures and PPE usage
- Ensure safe handling of gas cylinders and equipment
Documentation
- Maintain records of welding work and materials used
- Report any defects or issues to supervisors
Team Coordination
- Work closely with fitters, turners, and engineers
- Support production and site activities
Requirements
- ITI in Welder
- 1–2 years of welding experience
- Knowledge of MIG/TIG/Arc welding techniques
- Ability to read welding drawings
Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹22,346.31 per month
