About the Role This role involves leading complex development tasks with a strong focus on React JS on the frontend and Java microservices on the backend. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of microservices architecture, Spring Framework, and extensive experience with backend development. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to design and develop complex backend systems, lead cross-functional collaborations, and maintain high-quality code.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex backend systems using Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud technologies.
- Participate in architecting and implementing microservices-based solutions with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Guide the integration and optimization of Oracle and MongoDB in high-performance environments.
- Mentor junior developers to maintain high-quality, clean, and maintainable code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business priorities.
- Balance technical depth with business priorities.
- Actively participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to security best practices.
- Develop and implement test automation frameworks using Junit, Mockito, REST Assured, Cucumber, or Selenium.
- Optimize application performance, monitoring, and optimization techniques.
Requirements
- Develop software with a strong focus on React JS on the frontend and Java microservices on the backend.
- Utilize strong knowledge of Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
- Apply understanding of Microservices Architecture and best practices.
- Leverage proficiency in Hibernate, JPA, relational (Oracle), and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
- Implement experience with Redis for caching and performance optimization.
- Apply hands-on experience with Junit, Mockito, REST Assured, Cucumber, or Selenium.
- Utilize knowledge of API Gateways, Service Discovery, and Distributed Tracing (e.g., Spring Cloud Gateway, Eureka, Zipkin).
- Apply familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Implement experience with code quality tools (e.g., SonarQube, CheckStyle).
- Apply understanding of security best practices for backend development (OAuth2, JWT, Spring Security).
- Have proven extensive experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Shift-Left testing strategies.
