We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Pricing Executive to manage product pricing, invoice verification, and payment reconciliation across our US operations.
About the Role
The Pricing and Payroll Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate product pricing, verifying invoices, reconciling vendor payments with bank transactions, protecting profit margins, and improving pricing and financial processes. The ideal candidate should have strong Excel/data analysis skills, attention to detail, numerical accuracy, problem-solving abilities, and experience with pricing, invoicing, reconciliation, or payroll processes. The role requires someone who can work independently, manage recurring deadlines, and maintain accurate and confidential business records.
Key Responsibilities
- Review vendor costs and update selling prices to achieve target margins.
- Create, update, and maintain product pricing, cost, and selling price information in company systems.
- Review vendor costs, purchase prices, and product margins to ensure pricing supports company profitability targets.
- Analyze costs, selling prices, gross margins, and profitability to identify pricing opportunities and potential issues.
- Conduct competitor pricing analysis and market research to help maintain competitive product pricing.
- Perform Sales vs. Purchase Analysis to compare sales performance, purchasing costs, margins, and profitability.
- Review and verify customer and vendor invoices for accuracy, pricing, quantities, and supporting documentation.
- Match vendor invoices with purchase orders, receiving records, and approved pricing.
- Assist with payment reconciliation by comparing invoices, payment records, and bank transactions.
- Investigate and resolve pricing discrepancies, invoice discrepancies, payment differences, and data-entry errors.
- Maintain accurate price books, product master data, vendor information, and pricing records.
- Monitor product costs, vendor spending, pricing changes, margins, and overall pricing performance.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly pricing, reconciliation, sales, cost, and profitability reports.
- Maintain accurate payroll-related records and assist with timekeeping and payroll data verification as assigned.
- Review time and attendance information for accuracy and identify discrepancies before payroll processing.
- Work closely with Purchasing, Finance, Accounting, Payroll, and Operations teams to resolve issues and maintain accurate records.
- Track pricing changes and ensure updates are properly documented and communicated to relevant teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve pricing accuracy, data quality, reconciliation processes, and operational efficiency.
- Follow established company procedures related to pricing, invoicing, purchasing, payroll, reconciliation, and financial controls.
- Maintain confidentiality of company, employee, vendor, customer, and financial information.
Qualifications-
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Applications or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in pricing, accounting, finance, payroll, purchasing, invoicing, data analysis, or a related administrative/financial role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including sorting, filtering, formulas, spreadsheets, and data analysis.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience working with product pricing, vendor costs, invoices, purchase orders, or financial records.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently during US business hours.
