An Assistant Branch Manager in a financial or retail setup assists the Branch Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, driving sales targets, and managing staff. The role bridges the gap between executive strategy and frontline execution, ensuring compliance, high-quality customer service, and overall branch profitability.
1. Operations & Compliance
- Day-to-Day Management: Overseeing daily branch activities, including cash flow management, vault balancing, and ATM operations.
- Regulatory Adherence: Ensuring the branch complies with financial policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
2. Team Leadership & Development
- Staff Supervision: Guiding frontline staff, tellers, and sales personnel.
- Training & Coaching: Conducting regular performance reviews, identifying training needs, and motivating the team to achieve individual and branch goals.
3. Sales & Customer Relations
- Target Achievement: Driving sales of financial or retail products (e.g., loans, deposits, insurance) to meet or exceed monthly quotas.
- Customer Resolution: Acting as a point of escalation for complex customer inquiries or complaints to ensure satisfaction and retention.
4. Reporting & Strategy
- Performance Analysis: Assisting the Branch Manager in analyzing branch performance metrics.
- Reporting: Preparing and presenting productivity reports for the head office .
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹23,500.00 per month
