We are building a dedicated Process Automation & Technology Team to develop internal technology solutions, automate repetitive business processes, improve operational efficiency, and implement AI-powered systems.
About the Role
We are looking for a strong Technical Project Manager & Business Analyst – Process Automation who can take complete ownership of the Process Automation & Technology Team.
This is primarily a team management, project execution, and delivery leadership role.
The candidate will be responsible for managing the complete technical team, assigning work, setting priorities, tracking deadlines, solving blockers, coordinating requirements, monitoring quality, and ensuring projects are delivered successfully.
The person will work closely with:
- MERN Stack Developer
- Process Automation Specialist
- UI/UX Designer & Product QA Executive
The ideal candidate must be technically strong enough to understand MERN Stack, React.js, Node.js, APIs, databases, AWS, automation, and software development, while being an excellent team leader and project manager.
The candidate does not need to be the strongest developer in the team. Their primary responsibility is to make sure the entire team works efficiently and delivers projects on time.
Key Responsibilities1. Team Management – Primary Responsibility
- Take complete ownership of the Process Automation & Technology team.
- Manage and coordinate all team members on a daily basis.
- Assign tasks based on skills, priorities, and project requirements.
- Set clear responsibilities and deadlines for every team member.
- Conduct daily or regular team stand-up meetings.
- Track individual and team progress.
- Follow up on pending tasks and deliverables.
- Monitor workload and redistribute tasks when required.
- Identify performance issues and address them proactively.
- Ensure team members remain productive and focused on priority projects.
- Resolve internal team coordination issues.
- Maintain accountability across the entire team.
- Support and guide team members when they face technical or project-related blockers.
2. Project Management & Delivery
- Take ownership of projects from requirement to final delivery.
- Create project plans, milestones, timelines, and deadlines.
- Break large projects into smaller tasks and deliverables.
- Assign tasks to the appropriate team members.
- Track project progress on a daily and weekly basis.
- Ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Identify delays and risks before they affect delivery.
- Remove blockers and coordinate solutions.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Prioritize projects based on business importance and urgency.
- Coordinate development, automation, UI/UX, testing, and deployment activities.
- Ensure all agreed deliverables are completed before the deadline.
- Take responsibility for final project delivery.
3. Business Requirement & Analysis
- Understand requirements directly from management and internal departments.
- Analyze business problems and identify technology-based solutions.
- Convert business requirements into clear tasks for the technical team.
- Define project scope, objectives, features, and expected outcomes.
- Identify processes that can be automated.
- Prepare requirement documents and workflow diagrams when required.
- Clarify requirements before development begins.
- Prevent misunderstandings between management and technical team members.
- Ensure the final product solves the original business requirement.
4. Technical Team Coordination
The candidate must understand enough technology to effectively manage technical professionals.
MERN Stack
Must have a practical understanding of:

- Frontend and backend architecture
The candidate should understand how a React frontend communicates with a Node.js backend and database.
APIs & Integrations
- Understand REST APIs.
- Understand JSON.
- Understand webhooks.

- Understand third-party API integrations.
- Coordinate API requirements between team members.
- Understand basic API testing using tools such as Postman.
AWS
The candidate should have working knowledge of AWS fundamentals, including:
- EC2
- S3
- RDS
- Lambda
- CloudFront
- Route 53
- IAM basics
- Hosting and deployment concepts
The candidate does not need to be an AWS DevOps expert but should understand the infrastructure well enough to coordinate with developers and identify project dependencies.
Automation
- Understand n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar platforms.
- Understand workflow logic and automation processes.
- Understand triggers, actions, conditions, webhooks, and integrations.
- Coordinate automation projects with the Process Automation Specialist.
- Review automation progress and final outcomes.
5. Task Planning & Delegation
- Convert project requirements into actionable tasks.
- Assign tasks to the correct team member.
- Define priorities and deadlines.
- Ensure every task has a clear owner.
- Monitor task status continuously.
- Follow up on overdue tasks.
- Identify dependencies between tasks.
- Ensure one team's delay does not unnecessarily block another team member.
- Maintain a centralized project/task tracker.
6. Deadline & Performance Management
- Establish realistic project deadlines.
- Monitor deadlines continuously.
- Track daily progress.
- Conduct weekly project reviews.
- Identify reasons for delays.
- Take corrective action immediately.
- Escalate major issues to management.
- Maintain project delivery discipline.
- Measure team performance against agreed deliverables.
- Ensure deadlines are treated as commitments.
7. Quality Assurance & Final Delivery
- Ensure all projects are properly tested before deployment.
- Coordinate with the UI/UX & QA team.
- Review completed work against requirements.
- Ensure bugs are documented and resolved.
- Ensure fixes are retested.
- Review functionality, usability, integrations, and automation workflows.
- Conduct final project readiness reviews.
- Ensure projects are production-ready before final delivery.
- Obtain management approval when required.
8. Reporting to Management
Provide clear and structured updates to management regarding:
- Current projects.
- Completed tasks.
- Pending tasks.
- Team productivity.
- Upcoming deadlines.
- Project delays.
- Technical blockers.
- Resource requirements.
- Risks.
- Automation progress.
- Final project status.
The manager should always know:
What is being worked on → Who is working on it → What is completed → What is pending → What is blocked → When it will be delivered.
9. Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies within internal company processes.
- Recommend technology-based improvements.
- Identify opportunities for automation.
- Reduce repetitive manual work.
- Improve team workflows and project execution processes.
- Establish better documentation and SOPs.
- Continuously improve the Process Automation team's working methods.

Role Objective
The primary objective of this position is to take complete responsibility for the Process Automation & Technology team and ensure that the team delivers projects on time, with the required quality and business impact.
