We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to manage financial records, prepare financial reports, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support the organization's financial operations. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Process payroll and employee reimbursements, if required.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Monitor cash flow and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and financial regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of accounting experience (or as required).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or Zoho Books).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification (preferred).
- Experience with ERP systems and GST/VAT or tax compliance.
- Knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliance.
