Job description:
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions and financial records.
- Prepare invoices, receipts, vouchers, and payment entries.
- Manage front office operations and attend to walk-in students, parents, and visitors.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, WhatsApp inquiries, and provide course information.
- Support student admissions, registrations, fee collection, and documentation.
- Maintain student records, admission data, and fee status reports.
- Manage fee collections and maintain student payment records.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor outstanding payments.
- Assist in GST filing, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities.
- Maintain petty cash and expense records.
- Generate financial reports and support month-end closing activities.
- Coordinate with management regarding accounts and financial documentation.
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial data.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or finance.
- Working knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, and accounting principles.
- Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and bookkeeping.
- Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
