Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead business growth initiatives, drive student admissions, and manage a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in the Education/EdTech sector and proven experience in team handling, revenue generation, and achieving business targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Business Development team to achieve admission and revenue targets.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to increase market penetration and student enrollments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, colleges, educational consultants, and corporate partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and establish institutional partnerships.
- Monitor team performance, conduct regular reviews, and provide coaching and mentoring.
- Drive lead generation, conversion, and admission processes.
- Coordinate with the marketing team for campaigns, events, seminars, and promotional activities.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare sales forecasts, business reports, and performance dashboards for management.
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
- MBA preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Business Development or Sales within the Education/EdTech sector.
- Must have experience in handling and leading a sales/business development team.
- Proven track record of achieving admission and revenue targets.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience in institutional tie-ups, student recruitment, and partnership development.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in a target-driven environment.

- Strong understanding of the Kerala education market.
