About the Role
ARA Web Technologies is hiring a skilled PHP Developer with hands-on experience in Laravel, CodeIgniter, and WordPress to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining web applications and websites for our diverse client base. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of professional development experience in an IT agency environment, with strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for writing clean, efficient, and well- documented code. You will work on projects ranging from custom CMS development to e-commerce solutions and enterprise web applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain custom web applications using Laravel, CodeIgniter, and core PHP
- Design, build, and customize WordPress themes and plugins from scratch
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services
- Write clean, well-structured, and reusable code following MVC architecture and coding standards
- Optimize application performance, database queries, and page load speeds
- Implement security best practices including data validation, sanitization, and protection against SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF attacks
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across development and production environments
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality projects on time
- Manage databases using MySQL including schema design, query optimization, and migration scripts
- Implement version control using Git and participate in code reviews
- Deploy applications to staging and production servers using FTP, SSH, and CI/CD pipelines
- Document technical specifications, API endpoints, and deployment procedures
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional PHP development experience in an IT agency or software development company

- Familiarity with Docker, AWS, or cloud deployment services
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Experience with testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Pest)
- Knowledge of Redis, Memcached, or other caching solutions
- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS application architecture
- Laravel certification or relevant technical certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
SALARY 25,000 - 55,000 INR/month (Based on interview performance, skills
assessment, and experience)
Pay: ₹12,612.16 - ₹51,761.71 per month
