Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and motivated WordPress Developer with 1–4 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites, themes, and plugins. You will work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality web solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites.
- Create and modify WordPress themes and plugins according to project requirements.
- Convert UI/UX designs into responsive and user-friendly websites.
- Optimize website performance, speed, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and plugins.
- Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and cross-browser compatible.
- Perform website updates, backups, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver projects on time.
- Follow coding standards and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–4 years of experience in WordPress development.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS, theme development, and plugin customization.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP.
- Experience with MySQL database management.
- Knowledge of responsive web design principles.
- Familiarity with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of SEO best practices and website optimization.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with WooCommerce development and customization.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with hosting environments, cPanel, and website deployment.
- Basic understanding of React.js or modern JavaScript frameworks is a plus.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
