Job Overview
We are looking for a result-oriented Sales Officer (Edible Oil) to manage and grow sales within the assigned territory in the FMCG segment. The role involves field sales, distributor coordination, and ensuring effective market coverage to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Achievement
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Drive primary and secondary sales in the assigned area
Distributor Management
- Coordinate with distributors for order planning and stock availability
- Ensure timely billing and smooth supply of products
Market Coverage
- Conduct regular market visits to retailers and wholesalers
- Generate orders and maintain strong retailer relationships
- Identify and onboard new retail outlets
Product Visibility & Promotion
- Ensure proper product display and availability at retail outlets
- Implement company schemes and promotional activities
Reporting & Documentation
- Submit daily sales reports and market updates
- Track sales performance and maintain records
Market Feedback
- Monitor competitor activities and pricing
- Share insights on market trends and customer demand
Requirements
- Graduated in any discipline
- 2–4 years of experience in FMCG sales or field sales
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel locally for field work
