About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Factory Medical Officer (FMO – CIH) to join a reputed multi-speciality hospital in Ankleshwar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing occupational health services, ensuring compliance with industrial health regulations, and promoting employee well-being in accordance with statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-employment, periodic, and fitness medical examinations.
- Provide primary medical care and emergency treatment to employees.
- Monitor occupational health hazards and recommend preventive measures.
- Ensure compliance with the Factories Act and other applicable occupational health regulations.
- Maintain employee medical records and health surveillance data.
- Conduct health awareness programs, wellness initiatives, and vaccination drives.
- Investigate workplace injuries and occupational illnesses.
- Coordinate with management, HR, safety teams, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure proper functioning of the Occupational Health Centre (OHC).
- Prepare reports and documentation related to industrial health and statutory compliance.
Eligibility Criteria
- MBBS from a recognized institution.
- CIH (Certificate in Industrial Health) is mandatory.
- Valid registration with NMC / State Medical Council.
- Experience in Occupational Health, Industrial Health, Factory Medical Services, or Corporate Health setups preferred.
- Strong knowledge of factory medical compliance, occupational health standards, and statutory requirements under the Factories Act.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceutical, engineering, or industrial environments.
- Familiarity with emergency response protocols and workplace health programs.
Pay: ₹120,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month
