About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing engineering team responsible for modernizing and scaling critical customer support platforms.
This role combines strong technical leadership, people management, and execution excellence. You will drive the transformation of legacy enterprise systems into modern, cloud-native, API-driven, and AI-enabled platforms while partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Business stakeholders globally.
What You'll Do
Lead and grow a team of software engineers and technical leads.
Drive modernization of enterprise platforms using cloud-native architectures and modern development practices.
Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to define strategy, roadmap, and execution plans.
Guide architecture, design, and technical decision-making across multiple systems.
Champion engineering excellence across reliability, scalability, observability, security, and operational performance.
Drive adoption of AI-enabled development practices, automation, and engineering productivity improvements.
Lead Agile and DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automation, and platform modernization initiatives.
Foster an inclusive, high-performing engineering culture focused on innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring
11+ years of software engineering experience, including leadership of engineering teams.
Strong experience building and scaling enterprise applications and distributed systems.
Hands-on technical background in Java, Spring Boot, React, APIs, Microservices, and Cloud technologies.
Proven success leading platform modernization and large-scale transformation initiatives.
Experience working with globally distributed teams and stakeholders.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational leadership skills.
Passion for mentoring engineers and building high-performing teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience modernizing legacy platforms into cloud-native architectures.
Experience with AI-enabled products, GenAI applications, or intelligent automation.
Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Experience leading large cross-functional programs and multi-year transformation efforts.
